From the CEO: What We're Thankful For in 2020

As a challenging, scary and frustrating year draws to a close, I and the rest of the TaroWorks team are taking a few minutes to think about the things we are thankful for in 2020.

First and foremost, we are thankful for our health and good luck. The TaroWorks team and our families have largely avoided the worst effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire extended TaroWorks family as the global battle against the virus continues.

A Resilient User Community

​​​​We’re thankful for the continued support and resilience of more than 60 nonprofits and social enterprises that use TaroWorks. Despite the pandemic, we welcomed organizations who knew digitizing their service and product delivery was critical, including: 4Africa, Agricultura Inteligente, Amref Health Africa, Agros International, Explore Kenya and Unlocking Communities.

At the same time, we were thrilled to see clients like GiveDirectly and Population Services International grow their impact and TaroWorks operations in this challenging time. As we close 2020, almost 18,000 people are licensed to use TaroWorks!

New TaroWorks Features in 2020

We’re also grateful for the continued generous support from Qualcomm Wireless Reach and Cisco Systems. Their support makes possible many of the new features that we added to TaroWorks in 2020 to make it the best platform for offline, digital business operations. This includes: 

• Streamlined mobile user management: TaroWorks administrators now have more visibility and save time when managing mobile users.
• Support for Salesforce Files: There’s now more flexibility on size and security for your photos and signatures.
• Shipping status for TaroWorks Enterprise: Inventory management users can now track up-to-date inventories for long-haul shipments.
• Support for Android 10: TaroWorks mobile users can now use this OS version which includes new protections for user privacy and security.
• Additional enhancements: 32 improvements from things like additional language support to more accurate image metadata.
