The TaroWorks’ diverse team has drawn talent from tech and social entrepreneurial sectors. Since our launch in 2013, TaroWorks has reached over 90 social enterprises and nonprofit organizations across 30+ countries, supporting over 200,000 micro-entrepreneurs and improving the lives of over 3 million of the world’s poor.

Brent is a market development “triathlete” with expertise in business development, strategic partnerships, and new product development. TaroWorks is Brent’s third technology startup. Previously, Brent led African and global market development for Kopo Kopo, a Kenya-based mobile merchant payments innovator. Brent has an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA from Stanford University.

Before becoming Interim CEO, Kay was Director of Product and Customer Success - driving our product vision and roadmap as well as leading our customer success team. Kay is passionate about building technology with social impact. Kay has a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a Master of Engineering Management from Duke University.

Elaine’s background in marketing research and data analytics has shaped her goal of helping organizations use insights from better data to create positive change in communities. She has a BS in Marketing and Finance from New York University, and an MBA from the University of Michigan. Elaine is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Her background is in technology consulting and she has a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Erin is based in Kampala.

Sandeep ensures that TaroWorks and clients are aligned to achieve shared goals, and helps clients leverage technology to increase impact of programs and deliver better services. He has over 10 years of project management and business relationship management experience in international settings. Sandeep is based in Nairobi.
