Data in Action: 2015 Recap

What a year!

As 2015 comes to a close, we’ve been reflecting on what a big year it has been for TaroWorks. We spun out of Grameen Foundation as an independent social enterprise with a mission to improve product and service delivery to the poor by bringing real-time data to organizations serving them. We also greatly expanded the TaroWorks product, adding printing capabilities, ability to distribute files to the device for offline viewing, and mapping on both the back-end and the device. But most importantly, we expanded our impact to reach 73 organizations across 30 countries who are at the forefront of fighting poverty and improving the lives of the poor.

TaroWorks in action!
Social enterprises and nonprofits have transformed their business operations and impact by incorporating real-time data and analytics into their day-to-day work. In 2015, Honey Care Africa and Iluméxico did just that.
