Gallery: Solar Sister training session

We told you that Solar Sister signed up to start using TaroWorks back in June.

Since then, we’ve had a great two day training session. Training is a vital part of becoming a data-driven organisation with TaroWorks. We have some great tips from our team here and from some of our customers here.

To date Solar Sister has been using pen and paper to register new female entrepreneurs and sell their solar products. This information would then be transcribed to Salesforce via a laptop once the information came in from the field. Now with TaroWorks, they can capture this date right into their Samsung tablets, in the field, without access to network.

Over two days of TaroWorks training, Administrators and Sales Associates convened in the Solar Sister office in Kampala, Uganda. Attendees traveled from the United States, Tanzania, and Nigeria as well as the sales team from throughout Uganda. They were coming together to learn how to use TaroWorks to increase their data accuracy, streamline their processes, and ultimately empower female entrepreneurs more effectively and efficiently.

Impressed with their products, our TaroWorks trainer purchased a solar lamp that can serve as a light for an entire room, charge smart phones, and even has a remote control. Here is hopefully the last paper receipt Solar Sister has to fill out, as we begin our training in Bukoto. Solar Sister is currently piloting TaroWorks with their operations in Uganda and plans to scale the solution to the entire organization.
