That mission continues with the launch of TaroWorks 7.5: a powerful new release focused on enhancing how field teams capture information and how organizations can use it to drive decisions. Our latest version, packed with powerful updates, focuses on question enhancements and the introduction of TaroWorks Pro Features designed to support organizations working in last-mile environments by streamlining offline field operations, enhancing team collaboration, and enabling real-time visibility and scalability.


What’s New in TaroWorks 7.5?

Field teams often operate in the last-mile environments with little or no connectivity. TaroWorks bridges that gap, empowering organizations to collect, manage, and act on field data from anywhere.

TaroWorks 7.5 introduces new enhancements for all users and for the first time, optional
paid add-on Pro Features with premium capabilities designed for more advanced teams and organizations that require powerful tools for more efficient scalability to scale their impact.

By offering Pro Features as a premium for advanced organizations who will benefit most, we aim to keep the pricing of our core offering stable and accessible for all users. If you don’t require Pro Features, you still continue to receive the regular updates for your current TaroWorks core subscription, and no action is required from your side. 


TaroWorks 7.5 New Features

With TaroWorks 7.5, we’re enabling the admins to achieve efficiency by automating repetitive tasks and streamline data capture, collaboration by keeping field teams and headquarters aligned with real-time, consistent data and transparency by delivering deeper insight with richer field inputs and clearer system visibility.

Let’s explore these new features:

  1. Advanced Media Capabilities (Pro Feature) 
    Field teams can now capture live audio, video, and documents directly from their mobile devices and upload files (PDFs, Word docs, photos, etc.) directly to Google Drive. These files are stored outside of Salesforce, which reduces storage costs while providing richer insights. This helps strengthen transparency by giving teams clearer, multimedia-based reporting and documentation, empowering better decisions across the organization.

  2. Streamlined Forms & Jobs Translation (Pro Feature)
    Admins can now leverage the Salesforce Translation Workbench to manage Forms and Jobs in multiple languages. This ensures consistency across diverse regions, better version control, and easier deployment in multilingual contexts which enhances collaboration and enables distributed teams to stay aligned without additional manual rework.

  3. Support for 3rd Party Offline Maps on Mobile
    TaroWorks now also supports additional offline map integrations including Google Maps and Organic Maps, alongside Maps.me. Field agents can choose their preferred offline map solution which gives them greater flexibility to navigate to rural and remote areas. This strengthens operational efficiency, especially for organizations working in remote regions where internet access is unpredictable.

  4. Forms & Jobs Search
    Admins can now quickly search for specific Forms or Jobs directly in Salesforce without manually scrolling through long lists. This saves time, improves navigation, speeds up daily operations, and allows your teams to respond quickly to field changes. This upgrade is especially useful for organizations managing large volumes of forms across programs or regions.

  5. Object and Field Dependencies Viewer
    This new tool allows users to visualize how Forms, Jobs, and TaroWorks objects are linked. It helps administrators understand how everything connects, making it easier to configure and troubleshoot faster. It provides greater clarity and transparency allowing the admins to see how the data flows across their system, and helps build confidence in their implementation. 

  6. Android 14 Compatibility
    TaroWorks is now fully optimized for Android 14 devices, ensuring seamless functionality, smoother performance and compatibility with the latest mobile devices. This ensures stability, efficiency and scalability for growing field teams operating in dynamic environments.

Pro Features FAQs

  • What does this mean for me if I don’t want Pro Features?
    Your current TaroWorks subscription remains unchanged and no action is needed unless you choose to opt into Pro Features. You’ll continue to receive all core updates as usual.

  • ​​​​​How much is the premium for Pro Features?
    The premium is 15% on your annual subscription. This can be pro-rated, depending on when you would like to enable the Pro Features.

  • What can I expect from the Pro Features premium going forward?
    Similar to how you get the new features from your regular subscription, Pro Feature users can also expect additional advanced features as they become available.
