Based in Bujumbura, Burundi, Santé Communauté Développement (SaCoDé) works to empower communities to live healthy lives, and improve their living conditions. Its programs focus on women’s empowerment, community health, and poverty alleviation. One piece of SaCoDé’s work is to provide a menstrual hygiene program, distributing menstrual pads to Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLAs), girls in communities, and to UNICEF, World Vision, Right to Play, IRC, and JRS. For management to gain transparency into their inventory whereabouts, levels of finished products, distributions, and information about recipients, they decided to implement Salesforce and TaroWorks Enterprise for their all-in-one last mile distribution system.
This month, SaCoDé met a big milestone with their system administrator team getting trained by the TaroWorks Professional Services team locally in Bujumbura, Burundi. This training capped off a full implementation led by TaroWorks, funded by the TaroWorks Enterprise Grant, powered by Qualcomm Wireless Reach.
Hands-on TaroWorks System Training for Lasting Impact

The training concluded successfully with six trainees, including SaCoDé’s CEO, Grâce Françoise Nibizi. The team gained critical skills to manage and grow their TaroWorks and Salesforce system through this training.
After the training, SaCoDé’s System Administrator, Lukogo MUDUMBA Lebon, shared that he feels more confident navigating the system. He has already built several reports and dashboards which the leadership team are looking forward to using.
These tools will soon play a central role in powering SaCoDé’s poverty graduation program, which helps families build pathways out of poverty. With this training complete, Lebon is eager to begin building upon the system once it goes live.
This training marks an important milestone. It prepares SaCoDé not just to use TaroWorks, but to manage their system in-house, reducing reliance on external support.
