Webinar: Supporting the Visually Impaired Through Mobile Technology

BRAC, an international development organization, has utilized TaroWorks since 2016 for offline data collection in the field. This initiative enables them to meticulously track the progress of beneficiaries and effortlessly generate reports, ultimately saving valuable time for their employees. The organized and easily comprehensible data reports have empowered BRAC to make well-informed decisions, thereby enhancing and scaling their programs effectively.

Recognizing the need for inclusivity, especially in their Skills Development Program for individuals with disabilities, BRAC sought a solution to cater to visually impaired staff members and beneficiaries. TaroWorks stepped in by designing a solution that integrated Android Talk Back feature into the mobile app. This innovative approach not only fostered inclusivity but also contributed to creating a more accessible workplace. Through this initiative, BRAC has successfully extended educational opportunities to visually impaired individuals.
