Iluméxico is a Mexican social enterprise whose mission is to provide access to solar systems to people living without electricity in remote, impoverished areas of Mexico. The company provides all the equipment, local training and microfinancing programs that their customers need to turn on the lights.
Iluméxico was originally run out of one office, and field agents were spending weeks in the field before they could come back and log information. As they were looking to scale their operations by opening multiple branches, Iluméxico realized this lengthy process was not sustainable in the long term. The organization now operates branches throughout Mexico.

Iluméxico is using TaroWorks as a full offline mobile CRM tool. Field staff use TaroWorks to log their sales, as well as calculate proprietary credit scores offline and log expenses. Managers review reports regularly to track these sales numbers. They also upload repayment data from their bank every 2 days, so managers see a picture of their whole business in one dashboard.
They also use TaroWorks as a maintenance case management tool, logging details of solar panel installation issues in the field. By identifying their most common maintenance issues, Iluméxico has improved the way they assemble their packages, so that as the company increased their number of branches, their total number of maintenance issues actually decreased.
